In a clever #WarOnWaste initiative, a Perth business is taking pieces of the demolished building and turning it into a product that can be used to build roads.
More than 80,000 tonnes of building waste is set to be crushed and processed into road base.
Next time you’re driving on new sections of Tonkin or Leach Highway, you may be driving over what was once PMH!
Now that the new Perth Children’s Hospital is up and running, the site is being re-developed into the Subiaco East residential precinct.
